Anthony S. grew up listening to his father’s heavy rotation of funk and soul music (George Clinton, James Brown). That was promptly followed by his discovery of synthesized 80’s (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan). Those early sounds, combined with his love for hip-hop, Anthony S. ended up with quite a mixed bag of musical influences. Today, this clearly translates over into sets where he picks apart and brings together all the pieces of this music that he loves most.

As a very active Dj, Anthony S. is no stranger to the music scene in general. He’s made quite a foot print for himself by playing at a number of events over the last 20 years from Sacramento, over to SF and down to San Diego. Even going as far as helping promote and throwing underground House Music parties in the bay area with close friends. Having a deep knowledge of music has helped him build a well-rounded selection, which he’s always improving, and shares with everyone on the dance floor.
